Plymouth Albion is built upon the steadfast support of some sterling people and amongst that number are the ever popular ‘Girls on the gate’.
One of the girls is undertaking a rather arduous challenge that will see her miss today’s game.
As part of her employer’s 60th birthday, Sharon Gammage will face the daunting challenge of hiking the Pen Y Fan on Saturday 22nd October.
Having never climbed a mountain before, this is certainly a breathtaking test for one of the club’s finest, especially as she has a bit of an issue with falling at height! Her own personal challenge is to regain confidence walking on this difficult terrain.
The monies raised will be split equally between the 6 charities, all which provide important support and care to those in need. Their work is vital, and with the charity sector having faced tough times over the last couple of years every penny really does count.
